saloon or sedan

A saloon or sedan, is a common type of passenger car. It has a hard roof and seats at least four people. Some Saloon have two doors and others have four. A limousine is a large saloon designed for roomy and luxurious travel and is usually driven by a chauffeur. A station wagon, or estate car, has an extended body with many windows, a rear door for loading luggage and seating for six or more adults. A convertable has a soft roof that folds down. A coupe is a two door car designed for two people. Some coupes also have two small passenger seats at the back suitable for us on short journeys. Coupe may have hard roofs or they may be convertables. A Sports car is designed for fast and safe driving. It is low and streamlined and is extremely powerful  in relation to its weight. Most sports cars carry only two people. A jeep is a small carlike truck that is good for driving on rough terrain or through the snow. A Van is big car and can Haul larger loads than a usual car.
